BAYFIELD COUNTY Mental Health Professional in WASHBURN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Dual Role as Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Service Facilitator (SF). To provide clinical supervision to the Comprehensive Community Support (CCS) teams and direct treatment services including assessment/diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy, information and referral, case management and crisis intervention. To provide service facilitation to people affected by severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse. To ensure that the service plan and service delivery is integrated, coordinated, monitored, and designed to support the consumer in a manner that assists CCS participants to achieve the highest possible level of independent functioning. Mental Health Professional: A. Provides assessment/diagnosis and counseling or psychotherapeutic services. B. Fulfills the Mental Health Professional role and provides leadership to the CCS Recovery Teams. C. Provides crisis intervention as needed. D. Provides mental health consultation and training to other staff and service providers as directed. E. Provides CCS/therapeutic services to CCS clients. Can include individual, family, and group psychotherapy as needed. F. Facilitates all aspects of providing individual person-centered support to CCS participants. G. Assesses participants for current safety. H. Develops comprehensive treatment plans. I. Makes recommendations to the Ch Programs Manager/CCS Service Manager and/or CCS Service Director on client services and service programming components. J. Maintains current, accurate and organized electronic outpatient records in accordance with organizational timelines. K. Meets or exceeds benchmarks for billable hours or effectively communicates barriers to achieving this goal to supervisor. L. Maintains individual client case records within service reporting procedures as required by agency policy, state and federal mandated, and administrative codes. M. Adheres to federal, state and county laws, rules, regulations and policies related to the performance of duties. N. Provides information and referral services in response to inquiries about community resources or information about integrated components of the human services delivery system. O. Participates in section and department meetings, work-related committees, and trainings. P. Provides informational presentations to other staff, professionals, and community groups related to department programs and policies. Q. Maintains professional development by attending training to enhance case practice skill and by active participation in clinical supervision and interactive supervisory consultation. R. Performs other duties as assigned. Position initially serves as a dual role incorporating Service Facilitator (SF) duties. This is approximately 25% of all duties in the first year. Position will transition to full-time MHP when SF duties are no longer needed. Service Facilitator: A. Completes the assessment process in collaboration with the CH Programs Manager/Mental Health Professional, other CCS staff and providers. B. Ensures that the services plan and services delivery is consumer driven, integrated, coordinated, monitored, and designed to support the consumer in a manner that helps the consumer to achieve the highest possible level of independent functioning. C. Assures collaborative communication among individuals\' provider networks and recovery teams in line with the participant\'s preference and needs. D. Facilitates, at a minimum, annual services planning, staffing with members of the recovery team and providers as requested and/or approved by participants or their legal representatives. E. Ensures that all documentation is done accurately and timely; including but not limited to the service plan; case notes; releases of information; timesheets; etc. and more. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A. Minimum of a Master\'s Degree from an accredited college in areas directly related to mental health services, including but not limited to social work, psychology, school or educational psychology, rehabilitation psychology, counseling and guidance or counseling psychology. B. Have 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or be listed in the national registry of health care providers in clinical social work, the nation association of social workers register of clinical social workers, the national academy of certified mental health counselors or the national register of health service providers in psychology. C. Required to hold a State of Wisconsin License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist (LP). D. Minimum two years of experience providing services to adults with significant mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring needs required. E. Valid Wisconsin driver\'s license and reliable transportation F.
