About You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Temporary Recruiter. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will drive the recruitment cycle for our open roles. This will include sourcing candidates, interviewing, coordinating onsite visits and meetings, managing our pre-hire and orientation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing and extending offers

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings and keep detailed records of all candidate interactions

  • Utilize various channels to identify and attract top talent, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals

  • Coordinate pre hire processes such as background checks, physicals and drug screens

  • Coordinate employee orientation to the organization including new hire notifications to internal teams

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on key performance indicators

  • Managing confidential employee information and maintain accurate record

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Bachelors degree in HR related field strongly preferred

  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Superior verbal/written/listening abilities

  • Proven organizational and attention to detail a must

  • Strong interpersonal skills essential

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Experience with Workable Recruiting and ADP Workforce Now a plus

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Assignment Length: 6 months
