Jack Henry is currently seeking a Proposal Analyst for the Sales Operation’s Proposal and Contract team. Working independently and as part of the overall sales team, the Proposal Analyst develops the pricing and configuration documents to be presented to clients and prospects. To be successful, you must be self-motivated to learn new things and be able to articulate and share your knowledge with team members. Additionally, you must possess the ability to multi-task and work effectively individually or in team settings with minimum supervision.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to come to the office approximately once per month for onsite meetings, events, and training. The remainder of the time you may work remotely from home. This position is based to work out of the Monett, MO location.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Maintains extensive pricing, configuration, and process knowledge to support the field sales team and other internal business units.

  • Expertly navigates Salesforce, Conga/QTC and Microsoft Office products to deliver a professional pricing proposal.

  • Works in the grey areas – understands the principles of JH’s business and exercises judgement in execution.

  • Collaborates across the Proposal and Contract team to enhance process efficiency and reduce cycle time.

  • Act as a backup resource to temporarily backfill various responsibilities within the team.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or experience with banking contracts.

  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Ability to understand basic legal documents and how they affect current and future proposals and contracts.

  • Strong business acumen and desire to strengthen knowledge of the business/industry.

  • Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Salesforce and Conga/QTC experience a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer relation, organizational, detail oriented, technical, and project management skills.

  • Understanding of banking products and services.

  • Must demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, work effectively with associates at all levels.
