SUMMARY: The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) is a key contributor to the overall brand team, responsible for leading cross functional teams in planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives.

  • P&L and/or financial ownership for the assigned Brands/Categories/Products including ensuring Manager\'s objectives are met for defined business metrics
  • Ensure product specification drive desired product quality
  • Attend/Lead and participate in product tastings to ensure spec adherence, determine if product meets quality and taste expectations
  • Finished goods, ingredient and packaging inventory oversight
  • Provide inputs to supply chain and operations relative to product and category trends
  • Work with sales and demand planning team to ensure accurate forecasts for assigned products are as accurate as possible
  • Work closely with quality complaint team to understand drivers behind customer complaint trends and operational issues
  • Lead Cross Functional Team projects (Insights, Finance, Operations, Demand Planning, S,S&P, Innovation, R&D, and Shopper Marketing) in support of objectives including, but not limited to, cost savings, volume, and profitability initiatives
  • Participate in the process of identifying industry and consumer trends including mining and analyzing secondary data to spot trends and insights in support of defined strategies and to uncover new opportunities
  • Assist with building and executing pricing strategy for assigned Brand/Categories
  • Contribute to the Strategic Planning process and the development/execution of Growth Strategies and the Annual Marketing Plan for the assigned Brands/Categories
  • Seek opportunities for personal development and proactively identify ways to add value to Business Unite teams
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business management or innovation, preferred and/or MBA
  • P&L Management and/or Brand Growth experience in the food industry, specifically in protein preferred
  • Knowledge of interdepartmental functions and experience in interacting closely with, and leading, cross functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Strong financial and quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills

TRAVEL: 6-10 trips per year
