Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: * Perform a wide variety of field duties for both routine/scheduled and emergency environmental projects to include: inspection, maintenance, monitoring, construction oversight, air monitoring, and operations and maintenance of remediation systems * Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring for various media and contaminants of concern by following established procedures * Opportunity to respond to environmental emergencies to perform field tasks. * Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets - Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards What you will develop as part of the GHD Team: * Sound understanding of soil and groundwater investigation and remediation strategies * Client engagement approach and stewardship * Complex problem solving as it relates to environmental remediation and economic decision making * Balancing the triangle of Scope, Schedule, and Budget to produce the best results possible for our clients * Diverse professional networks spanning the globe and multitudes of fields * Opportunities to engage in a wide range of environmental and geographical settings What you will bring to the team: * Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Fundamentals of Engineering (FE Exam) a plus * 0-3 years' experience * Drive and ability to acquire Professional license * Detail oriented with the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload * Critical thinking and problem solving - ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem * Willingness to respond to call outs during non-routine working hours * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency * Positive attitude, very strong interpersonal skills * Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents * Establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers and clients - effective collaborators are welcome * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project timelines * Self-motivated and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment * Must reside near our GHD Office * OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus Why GHD Take on some of the world's toughest challenges - with everyone at GHD backing you every step of the way.
