Description We are in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in ORANGE, Connecticut, offering a contract role for a Medical Receptionist. Your role will require you to provide customer service over the phone and in-person, acting as the first point of contact for our patients. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing support and solutions to our patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Handling various files and performing general office duties such as data entry, faxing, and scanning

• Responding to phone calls efficiently and directing inquiries in a professional and effective manner

• Scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipts of money in accordance with established procedures

• Acting as a liaison between patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner

• Managing client forms and patient medical records

• Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries

• Verifying insurance with health insurance organizations

• Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean, reporting any damage.
