Google Product Manager II, Google Fi in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience with network telecommunications technologies (e.g., 5G, VOIP, LTE, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • Ability to develop a product strategy, understand user needs, and map them to a set of products.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a variety of teams including engineering, UX, operations, data science, and finance.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google Fi Wireless enables users to easily get connected on any device, and brings reliable, affordable connectivity to the mobile connectivity space. In this role, you will own network quality, metrics, and technology roadmaps.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Manage and improve network features.

  • Manage user journey mapping and needs assessment, and build an understanding of user journeys.

  • Advocate for network quality internally for details on metrics, monitoring, and prioritizing efforts.

  • Understand and assess new technologies.

  • Collaborate with the Pixel team, Android, and other OEMs to ensure the network works well on all devices.
