Universal Health Services Therapist in LIBERTY HILL, Texas
Responsibilities
As a Program Therapist at Meridell Achievement Center, you'll be part of a dynamic and compassionate treatment team dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and neurobehavioral challenges. You'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized therapeutic plans, working closely with patients, and families to achieve remarkable outcomes.
Your Impact:
Manage a caseload of up to 11 patients, providing personalized therapy and support to help them overcome their challenges
Lead psychoeducation and process groups to empower patients and families with valuable skills and knowledge
Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare dispositions to ensure seamless transitions for patients
Serve as the liaison between the treatment team and families/community stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaboration
Document progress notes and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in weekly treatment team staffings and team meetings to stay connected with your unit team members
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Current State of Texas license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Effective interpersonal skills and competent clinical skills
Collaborative, positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Requirements:
Two years post-licensure experience, advanced training or certification in an evidence-based practice such as EMDR, CBT, or DBT
One year of clinical experience in RTC setting
One year of group facilitation experience
