Senior Logistics Specialist, International Programs

KBR is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist, International Programs to join our team. As a part of one of the world’s largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.

As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Performs Integrated Logistics support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of various programs.

  • Addresses program requirements in the area of international logistics and develops unique and creative approaches for establishing cooperative support arrangements with allies and friendly nations.

  • Provides technical guidance and a broad perspective on international programs.

  • Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel will be required in support of logistics activities.

  • Provides Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Life cycle sustainment and logistics support services covers all phases of the acquisition life cycle, including new program logistics support, sustainment and disposal. Candidates shall have familiarity with the 12 IPS elements which are:

Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience working in program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning; 13 years of work experience in the field will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have experience providing technical guidance and a broad perspective on international programs.

  • An active secret level security clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

  • Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
