A manufacturing company in Latrobe is looking for a Purchasing Specialist.

The position is temporary to hire and 100% onsite.

The Purchasing Specialist would be responsible for the following duties:

• Identify and propose ways to make our purchasing system better, aiming to strengthen our connections with suppliers and reduce costs

• Create measures to track how much inventory is needed

• Oversee our everyday purchasing tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating deals on contracts, prices, and delivery times

• Keep supplier database, purchase records, and other documents organized and up-to-date

• Work on improving our purchasing systems and processes to make them more efficient

• Manage purchase orders and keep track of cost information

• Inventory Analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field

• 2+ years of purchasing experience

• Experience with MS Dynamics is a huge plus
