Job Description

One of our automotive clients is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team in Dearborn, MI. The person in this role would be supporting in design verification and testing for a mixture of current and future vehicle architecture software.

Additional responsibilities in this role include:

- Conducting testing activities in Software-In-The-Loop (SIL), Bench, and Vehicle testing environments

- Performing unit testing in Ceedling, or Simulink Test appropriately and ensure acceptance criteria and minimum code coverage metrics are met

- Execute tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders

- Provide Test Case results based on the appropriate tool including Jira, Ceedling, ECU-Test

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and resolve issues

- Generate automated test cases where applicable

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science

* 2+ years of experience in testing methodologies and tools

* 2-5 years of experience with Software-In-The-Loop (SIL), Bench, and Vehicle testing environments

* Experience testing in Simulink or Ceedling

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * Familiarity with automotive testing standards and regulations null
