Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Strategic Business Acumen: Possess knowledge of: Industry, environmental, economic factors and competitors (for example, market fluctuations, changes in policies or politics, emerging technology, cultural practices); global business strategy; translating business knowledge into actionable insights; business management practices across multiple domains (for example, merchandise, supply chain marketing, sales, technology, business systems, human resources) and in-depth knowledge of company practices; business metrics (for example, fiscal financial targets, product sales, service line and operational budgets, technology spend).

To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Supports the development of business cases and recommendations; owns the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others; supports process updates and changes; solve simple business issues; demonstrates functional knowledge of the business unit/organization being supported; communicates business perspectives and understands stakeholder perspectives; researches similar businesses and best practices across the industry; uses the basic tools necessary for managing expenses, budgets, and investments; describes basic concepts of financial forecasting.

Influential Communication: Possess knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building with ability to connect seemingly unconnected parties; influencing styles. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Organizes thoughts and communicates credibly and concisely within scope; presents to and influences team members and business partners, conveying messages through a basic understanding of the relevant context; utilizes relevant data and fact-based information to articulate results and provides recommendations in a structured manner; actively listens to others, seeks and provides constructive feedback. and provides ideas/recommendations on processes; proactively builds professional network.

Partnership & Collaboration: Possess knowledge of: Stakeholder identification and mapping; stakeholder analysis; stakeholder communication; stakeholder engagement techniques; stakeholder management effectiveness tools and methods; fluency in specialized business vernacular. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Engages with team members on a periodic basis and establishes credibility; analyzes stakeholder needs and partners with them to share relevant information; responds effectively and efficiently to requests; takes a "one team" approach to collaborate and accomplishes goals for the business.

Assortment Strategy & Management: Possess knowledge of: Assortment analytics sources and reports; assortment performance metrics; assortment management tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Gathers basic reports used for product assortment management; describes the purpose of tools and benchmarks used for assortment management; demonstrates a basic understanding of the concepts and practices associated with assortment management in the retail industry; cites examples of seasonal considerations and adjustments to planned-versus -actual assortment mix.

Digital Literacy and Analytics: Possess knowledge of: Sources of relevant data; data analysis techniques; data dashboard tools (for example, PowerBI, Tableau); sources of industry trend information; spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Leverages data analysis tools to explore moderately complex data; develops and tests hypotheses; uses data to influence strategic work;

You'll make an impact by:

  • Managing strategic WFS Small & Medium accounts: Serve as a strategic consultant/account manager - accountable for driving business growth across a portfolio of strategic sellers. Develop strategies with sellers to expand selection, improve offer quality and drive operational improvements across their business.

  • Overseeing business performance: Lead annual and quarterly business planning and performance tracking for strategic sellers. Conduct deep dive analysis on issues effecting seller business performance and implement corrective actions. Drive performance against P&L levers including gross merchandise value (GMV) and contribution profit.

  • Being a trusted advisor: Develop strong and trusting relationships with partners. Serve as the account "quarterback" - working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement growth initiatives. Employ a "one team" approach to accomplish the goals of the business and drive negotiations from a "win-win" perspective that establishes credibility and trust with our partners and delivers consistently improved performance.

  • Optimizing offer quality: Work directly with sellers to optimize their listings including PDP content, ratings and reviews, ship speed and price competitiveness to maximize search optimization and discoverability across the platform.

  • Driving adoption of seller services : Teach sellers how to be more successful across the Walmart platform and maximize awareness and adoption of seller growth initiatives including Walmart Fulfilment Services (WFS), Walmart Connect, and more.

  • Developing strategic marketing plans: Develop seller marketing plans - including events, site placements and promotions - that drive incremental traffic and GMV.

  • Working cross-functionally : Collaborate with Product Management, Strategy, Operations, Site and Marketing to deliver best-in-class customer and seller experiences.

Bellevue, Washington US-11075:The annual salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$132,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
