Oracle Software Developer 3 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

The tech stack is easy to pick up but experience with the following will help you hit the ground running:

  • Expertise in using RAD tools like APEX will be a great plus

  • Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 and knowledge in any one framework OJET is a plus.

  • Understanding of browser internals and a basic understanding of the network stack.

  • Understanding of common design patterns followed in Web projects.

  • Basic awareness of application security practices and deployment techniques for front-end projects.

  • Should have sound knowledge in computer science fundamentals like data structure, object-oriented programming and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Programming in Linux/Unix

  • Experience with debugging complex applications

  • Experience with creating/consuming RESTful web services

  • Knowledge in Machine Learning is a big plus.

[Backend]

  • Good understanding of multiple tech solutions and ability to pick the correct one for the given situation.

  • Integration of UI elements with server side logic/framework.

  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.

  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Implementation of security (SSO) and data protection

  • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL.

  • Experience in at least one general programming such as Java/Python/NodeJS.

  • Experience in deployment related skills like nGinx & Docker

  • Proficient in versioning systems: Git

The candidate should have:

  • Solid understanding of software development roles, processes and procedures in the context of Web and Database development

  • Familiarity with Agile software methodology

  • Moderately complex problem solving requiring minimal assistance and guidance

  • Good communication skills as well as a positive attitude and a drive to lead the team.

  • 4-12 Years of experience in building enterprise Web systems in RAD, Python, HTML, JavaScript (OJet), SQL, XML, Web Services and related technologies.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/languages is a must.

In this role, duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
