Field Rep FTE $65,000 M-F (Weekend too)

**Job Summary: Responsible for all grower documentation. Organizing all shipping of paddy rice as per operations needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Grower Relations:

• Grower contracting, grower documentation.
• Facilitate rice availability by working with growers and Sun Valley Rice.
• Practice good public relations with growers within their different communities.
• Available at Foothill during harvest

Paddy Shipping:

• Organizing all shipping of paddy rice as per operations needs.
• Organize trucking.
• Work with various rice warehouses.
• Samples Paddy, OMIC, Sales request of samples, rice stalks.
• The overall responsibility is to bring quality rice to Sun Valley Rice.

Inventory:

• Review inventory amounts.
• Analysis of redemptions for accounting purposes.
• Efficiently move inventory.
• Organize any second-year storage needs.

AARQ Report:

• Produce AARQ report for export credits with help of sales.

Industry Affairs:

• Competitor information
• Rice Commission meetings.
• Cash market.
• Gathering information of industry affairs

Warehouse Coordination:

• Estimate and coordinate all specialty varieties amounts and location for drying and storage.
• Organize and keep specialty seed program operational and flexible due to market conditions.
• Coordinate all yearly harvest delivery to and from warehouse.
