Philips Internship: Human Resources Integrated Supply Chain (Suitable for Thesis) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Location: Best, Amsterdam

Type: Internship

Length: 6 months (with a possibility to extend to 12 months)

Time: 40 hours/week

Expected Start Date: July and latest September 2024

We are able to support you with a thesis. In case we do enable you with your thesis, we do require you to work min 32 hours on the projects and max 8 hours per week on your thesis.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

Support and execute projects in close partnership with a group of professionals from both HR and the departments you will support. You will work on initiatives with a real impact, and have the chance to learn and develop in a dynamic and diverse environment with a strong sense to improve the life of patients.

You are responsible for

  • Supporting and/ or leading several HR projects (e.g. data analytics/ reporting/ renewing of job profile updates/ talent reviews /diversity/leadership/engagement/organizational culture);

  • Implementing and realizing according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, communication, information) and organization;

  • Supporting continuous operational excellence via implementing and maintaining dashboards, trackers and performing data analytics

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Master in Sciences degree at a University in Sciences in: Human Resources, Work and Organizational Psychology, Psychology or any other People/Business related Master.

  • Fluent in oral and written English

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective stakeholder management/ communication

  • Excel/ Data analytics experience

In return, we offer you

A stimulating assignment to participate actively within several HR projects focused on the implementation of tactical and/or strategic HR topics such as the Talent Review/ Job Catalog Improvements/ Reporting/ Career Pathing etc. within a vibrant and supporting team.

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net

  • Paid holidays per internship term.

  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.

Notes

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period . Formal documentation of which may be requested at any time. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university.

Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
