Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare education, training and/or simulation education

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Understanding of educational privacy legislation and practice

• Documented ability to interact with staff, students and faculty

• Computer literacy in MS Office applications

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize complex tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks while remaining flexible

Organizational Relationships

• Reports to the Executive Director of the Patient Safety and Clinical Competency Center (PSCCC)

• Works directly with educational staff from Clinical Skills Curriculum

• Maintains relationships with educators from multiple training programs within Albany Medical College

• Provides administrative support to PSCCC Leadership and Medical Education faculty, assisting in scheduling meetings and report preparation as needed

• Provides administrative support to the CSK faculty

• Maintains students schedules and track changes

• Tracks student assignment submission

• Interacts and effectively communicates with staff, students and faculty

• Assures security of educational records to ensure learner confidentiality

• Provides staff coverage as needed

• Other duties as assigned
